It sure has been a packed week this week. Between bedtime and naptime there are only about 10 waking hours for Emma each day, so that really doesn't leave much room. Despite that we got a lot done.
We went to the hospital 3 times, though only once did Emma see a doctor!! We went grocery shopping twice, moved Emma into her new bedroom, had therapy, worked at the church for a few hours (Emma played with Miss Judy!) and Kimberly spent the day with us on Thursday.
Earlier in the week Emma surprised us again with her growing strength and determination. On Sunday she did this for the first time...
In addition we made our first trip to the Thompsons backyard pool on Wednesday. It wasn't super hot, but worth the initial chill of the water to really cool us down...

We opted for a life jacket this year so we can encourage Emma to kick around more, maybe start the swimming lessons. However, either the cool water or just basic fear meant that she clung to us tightly and whined for quite a long time. We thought it might be the jacket but she was the same after we took it off.
After a while though she got used to it and let us pull her through the water so she could kick...
